City of Muskegon Re-Ups Marsh Field Agreement With Lakeshore Baseball Club

The cash-strapped city does not have the funds to maintain the field at this time, and entered in an agreement with the Lakeshore Baseball Club (LBC) back in 2010 to maintain the field. The renewal of the contract between the LBC and the city does come with some changes in terms of the previous deal.

City of Muskegon and Muskegon Public Schools Bring Back Youth Basketball and Open Gym, But Not Open Swim

With Tuesday’s vote, the gym and basketball components of the program will return starting in October and will run from this month through March 2012. The City of Muskegon will put up $18,500 to fund the program from its Leisure Services budget, which is in line with last year’s costs.

Lakeshore Baseball Club to Help Muskegon Maintain Campbell Field

In exchange for being able to schedule games on the field in the months of April and May, the Lakeshore Baseball Club will maintain the field in those months, including bringing it up to regulation standards. This agreement could save the city maintenance dollars.
