“New Community Talk Show and Programs Added To WUVS 103.7 the Beat”

Muskegon, MI (July 23, 2014) – A new community based talk show featuring Muskegon Heights Fire Chief Christopher Dean has arrived.  WUVSlp 103.7 the Beat is excited to announce “The Fire Chief Chris Dean Show.” Join 103.7 the Beat and Chris as we work together to educate and inform listeners about fire safety, home inspections and how to keep your family safe in the case of an emergency. “Fire Chief Show” features special guests and in-depth discussions on issues that affect the citizens in the county and surrounding areas. Listeners have the opportunity to call in and ask questions. The new show airs live from the Mayes & Wright Media Center of the 103.7 the Beat studio every other Tuesday from 10:00am – 10:30am with a repeat the following week.

Not only have we added Fire Chief Chris Dean to our team, we have other exciting programming now available. Broadcasting from Ghana, Africa, Dr. Carl Ofori is the host of the Dr. Carl Music Show every Saturday and Sunday from 2am – 6am.  The show features a variety of Hip Hop Music, highlighting African Hip Hop.  It’s the first show of its kind in the area. Dr. Carl is also the Program Director and a host at Radio University Power 105.7fm in Accra, Ghana.

 If you’re looking to be uplifted and fully energized tune into “The Drop” Sunday evenings from 6pm – 10pm. Hosted by Gospel Hip Hop Artist Tory McAlister aka Shine from Grand Rapids, The Drop features nothing but gospel, inspirational and positive hip hop music with a powerful message.
