Muskegon Homicide update
At 10:52pm on, April 2nd, 2016, Officers of the Muskegon Police Department were dispatched to the 1500 block of S. Getty St on a report of subject who had been shot. Officers arrived on scene and located the victim, CHARLES CUTI, a 23 year old Nunica man lying on the parking lot of a nearby business. The victim had suffered an apparent gunshot injury to his torso.
Investigators of the Muskegon Police Department have made an arrest in this case. COREY NATHANIEL BURT Jr, 22 years old, was arrested in the 700 block of E. Isabella Ave around 2:30pm on April 3rd, 2016 on several outstanding warrants. Investigators are requesting open murder and armed robbery charges against BURT Jr.
Investigators are asking the public for assistance in locating a person of interest in this case. JAYLAN DESHAWN TRAVISS, a 20 year old Muskegon Heights man. Silent Observer is offering a reward for information leading to the location of TRAVISS.
