Icy Roads Cause Accidents

The first snow of the season is coming soon and so are the icy roads, the light snow that fell on December 18th has already caused some accidents.

On December 18th there were two roll over accidents that occurred before 3pm on Eastbound I-96 just east of the Fruitport exit.

Muskegon County Sheriff Dean Roesler said there were two more accidents on US 31 near the Sherman exit on the city of Muskegon.

According to the National Weather Service there are expected snow showers in the coming weeks.
