The Community Advisory Board will meet

The 3rd Tuesday of November at Noon.

 

The Meeting will take place at the Mayes and Wright Media Center 1877 Peck Street, Muskegon, Mi. 49441

WUVS-lp 103.7 Community Advisory Board (CAB) is a volunteer group of interested listeners who meet regularly to gather public comments and advise as to whether the programming and policies of WUVS-lp meet the specialized educational and cultural needs of the Muskegon community. They provided an independent assessment on rather WUVS-lp is achieving the Mission Statement established by the General Board.

The CAB deliberates independently of station management and The West Michigan Community Help Network, determining its own agenda and electing its own leadership. The CAB is an advisory body only, and is not authorized to exercise any control over WUVS-lp daily management or operations. The CAB conveys its findings and recommendations based on public input to the West Michigan Community Help Network Board.

  Our Community Advisory Board was establish in July 1, 2010 when we moved into our new building. The Community Advisory Board consists of 3 Community Leaders who also operate local businesses.  They are appointment based on recommendation from the general board. Each Advisory member bring a different expertise to the board.
