103.7 The Beat/M106-FM 2019 City Election Debate

Muskegon/Muskegon Heights, MI-October 30, 2019103.7 The Beat and M106-FM are having a debate for the city of Muskegon and Muskegon Heights.  Candidates include: city commissioners from Ward I Jennifer Ross, Ward II Jeanette Burt-Moore and Willie German Jr., and Ward III Michael Ramsey and  Lawrence Spataro, Muskegon Heights Mayoral candidates Kim Sims and Walter Watt, and Muskegon Heights City Council candidates Derrick Collins,Ulis Ellis Jr., Dari Hines and Kellie Kitchen.    

The Honorable Judge Gregory C. Pittman will moderate the event at Corinthians Baptist Church located at 2027 Peck Street, Muskegon Heights, MI 49441 Wednesday October 30, 2019.

Judge Gregory C. Pittman is a lifelong resident of Muskegon County. He graduated from Muskegon Heights Public Schools in 1979, Michigan State University in 1983, and received his Juris Doctor degree from the Indiana University Maurer School of Law in 1987. On January 6, 1998, Governor John Engler appointed Judge Pittman to the Muskegon County Probate Bench. His appointment, also, filled the final slot in the 14th Circuit Court Family Division. Judge Pittman has been re-elected, continuously, since 1998. He currently serves as Presiding Judge of both the Muskegon County Probate, and 14th Circuit Court Family Court Division. On a regional and national level, Judge Pittman is the Chairman of the Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, 10th District Fatherhood, Mentoring and Manhood Committee. The Tenth District includes the states of Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Minnesota, and Wisconsin. Judge Pittman was also serves as Region Ten Director of the Omega Life Membership Foundation (OLMF) and represents Region Ten on the National OLMF Board of Directors.
